摘要:In the context of rapid urbanization, urban habitat fragmentation has emerged as a major driver influencing habitat quality, yet its effects across multiple spatial scales remain insufficiently understood. This study takes Zhengzhou City, China, as a case study and constructs a multi-scale grid analysis framework (900 m–5400 m) to quantitatively assess the impact of habitat fragmentation on habitat quality. By integrating fragmentation indices with habitat quality metrics and introducing the Multi-scale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) model, the study systematically identifies how key fragmentation indicators affect habitat quality across different spatial dimensions. The results show that, at the landscape-level, patch density (PD), mean shape index (SHAPE_MN), and contagion index (CONTAG) are the dominant factors influencing habitat quality. At the class-level, PD and AREA_MN of agricultural and construction land exert significant impact on both the focal land type and adjacent areas, while PD of forestland contributes notably to the maintenance and enhancement of surrounding habitat quality. The MGWR model, equipped with an adaptive bandwidth mechanism, effectively captures spatial non-stationarity, enhancing spatial adaptability and explanatory power. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that habitat quality declines and clustering of low-quality habitats intensifies with increasing fragmentation, particularly along construction land edges and agriculturally intensive zones. These findings reveal the multi-scale mechanisms of urban habitat fragmentation on habitat quality, providing a foundation for enhancing ecological networks and informing restoration strategies.
